Luna Loyalty

Digital loyalty cards for pubs and bars

Keep your regulars coming back.

Luna puts your pub's stamp card on your customers' phones. They scan a code at the bar and join in the phone's browser. Your staff add a stamp for each pint on their own phones, and a full card earns a free one.

Illustration. Each venue's card carries its own name and colours.

The problem

Paper cards get lost. Regulars shouldn't.

They end up in the wash.

Or in last winter's coat. A card half full of stamps is a reason to come back, until it's gone.

Stamps are easy to fake.

Anyone can buy a rubber stamp. At a busy bar, staff can't tell a real one from a copy.

You don't know who your regulars are.

A paper card tells you nothing: not who's in on Fridays, not who's stopped coming.

How it works

Three steps, all at the bar.

  1. Scan at the bar

A code on the bar, a poster or a table card. Customers point their phone camera at it.

  2. Join on their phone

Name, email, a password and date of birth, so we know they're 18 or over. No app to download. On Android they can add the card to Google Wallet too.

  3. A stamp per pint

Staff scan the card on their own phones. When the card is full, a free pint is waiting for the next visit.

Features

Built for a busy bar, not a head office.

Codes that change

The code on each card changes regularly, and each one can be used once. An old screenshot won't collect a stamp.

Staff scan on their own phones

No till integration and no extra hardware. Each member of staff signs in to the scanner in their phone's browser, scans and pours.

Your own panel

See who's joined, how many stamps have gone out and which free pints have been used. Add staff and print posters yourself.

Free pints unlock after a wait

A free pint can be used from 24 hours after it's earned, or longer if you choose. It rewards coming back, not one long night.

Works on any phone

The card opens in the phone's browser, so it works on iPhone and Android. iPhone users can add it to the Home Screen; Android users can save it to Google Wallet.

Your venue, first

The card carries your pub's name, colours and logo. Luna sits quietly underneath as “powered by”.

Questions

What venue owners ask us

Do customers need to download an app?

No. Customers join and use their card in the phone's browser. On iPhone they can add it to the Home Screen; on Android they can also save it to Google Wallet.

Which wallets does Luna work with?

Google Wallet, on Android. Apple Wallet isn't supported yet, so on iPhone the card works in Safari and can sit on the Home Screen like an app.

Do my staff need special equipment?

No. Each member of staff has their own login and uses their own phone to open the scanner in a web browser. Nothing connects to your till.

Can I choose the reward?

Yes. You choose how many stamps earn a free pint (between 3 and 20) and how long it waits before it can be used (between 24 and 72 hours; never less than 24). You can change them in your panel.

How much does it cost?

Every venue is different, so we don't publish a price list. Talk to us and we'll give you a straight answer.

What do you do with customer data?

We collect what the card needs: a name, an email address, a password to sign in, and a date of birth so we know members are 18 or over. Offers by email only go to members who tick the box. Read the privacy notice for the detail.

Give your regulars a card they won't lose.

Tell us about your pub or bar and we'll take it from there.
